Baxter Town Center in Ft. Mill South Carolina continues to be a great place for business. A recent news article in the Ft. Mill Times entitled Business Booming in Fort Mill’s Baxter Village pointed out that despite a down economy ten new businesses decided to make Baxter their home in 2010.
The growth in face of a downturn in the economy is attributed to a strong community which has matured and is taking advantage of a well thought out master plan which includes a vibrant and diverse community in Baxter Village and a Baxter Town Center which offers pedestrian friendly walkways, public places, and sufficient parking both on the main thoroughfare (Market Street) and in parking lots to the rear of buildings along the business district.
The Business district also has the latest communications and internet infrastructure built into many of the office and retail business spaces. The Sunview Office Suites welcomes the ten new businesses that have decided to join us in Baxter.
Kerri Robusto of Clear Springs quote in the Fort Mill Times article summarizes Baxter’s success, “We are leasing space and selling houses because we are a proven development with all our amenities in place. Our pedestrian-oriented village blends commercial, residential and civic uses together, and it really puts merchants back in the heart of everyday life.”
The following businesses joined the Baxter Village Business Community in 2010:
Cupcrazed Cakery
Monkey’s & Mermaids Gift Boutique
